Therrien Victorious at Port Royal Speedway

Quebec driver Alex Therrien made the long 10+ hour drive from Victoriaville, QC to Port Royal, PA worth it on Saturday night as he picked up his second career ESS win at the ‘Speed Palace’. Therrien outdueled Vermont native Kyle Smith on a late race restart to pick up the $4,000 winners check.

PA’s Pio First Time Winner In A Midget With AFS Badger Series At Wilmot Raceway

Tracks Badger doesn’t visit often such as Wilmot have a tendency to lend themselves to first time winners and this Wisconsin three-eighths mile didn’t disappoint. Gunnar Pio filled the seat of former Badger Midget Series Champion Chase McDermand’s #40 and the driver/owner duo nearly swept the night. A veteran of the micro ranks, it was his first time racing a midget.
