From Chowchilla Speedway
The 2010 Chowchilla Speedway racing schedule is released and it includes some of the finest racing Central California will see in the coming year.
On tap for the upcoming season are Sprint Cars, Super Late Models, Crate Late Models, Western Modifieds, Super Stocks, Spec Sprints, Hobby Stocks, 4-Bangers, Midgets, and much more.
The season will kick off with two great Sunday afternoon shows and then go into high gear on Saturday nights in April. In addition to the local track championship there is a Tri-Holiday Championship of
three races sponsored by LunkerDaddy fishing lures. One of these races is the 4th of July Fireworks show! This series will feature a three race points fund in addition to the local track championship for all divisions racing.
The Chowtown Pacific Dirt Nationals are back for the 2nd annual go around, and this year will be bigger and better racing than last year, if that is possible? Then the season will close with the Pumpkin Cup
Halloween Sprint car races and Trick or Treat / hay ride for the kids!
“We worked very hard with several other tracks and travel series to ensure we gave the fans and the race teams the best schedule possible. I think we have done this for the most part as there is almost zero overlap between Chowchilla Speedway, Hanford and Tulare. Now that the schedules are out, the next step is car registration in January for our members, then it is time for the improvements to start in February at the race track, that is the part I’m looking forward to.” Kenny Shepherd.
