From Eldora Speedway
ROSSBURG, OH โ Thursday eveningโs onslaught of winter like weather and sub-freezing temperatures have severely hampered track preparation activities and has prompted Eldora Speedway officials to cancel Saturdayโs planned tune and test session.
With that announcement, the first green flag will fall over the one-half mile clay oval next weekend (April 2 and 3) with the Coca Cola Spring Classic. On tap will be two full nights of racing action for the non-winged USAC (United States Auto Club) Sprint Cars, as they mark their 49th consecutive season of competition at Eldora. Each night will be a doubleheader of action with the UMP (United Midwestern Promoters) Modifieds on Friday night and the Stock Cars on Saturday night.
