Waynesfield Raceway Park will hold it’s final preseason Test and Tune day this Sunday April 11, allowing teams to work the bugs out of their rides in preparation for the 2010 season. Practice is open to ALL DIRT CARS, regardless of class, and regardless of what track you normally run. Gates will open at 1PM with the first group of cars scheduled to hit the track at 2PM. Pit passes will be $10 each, and general admission is free of charge. The main concession stand will be open for business. Come on out and enjoy a day at the track and get a head start on seeing the new cars and stars at Waynesfield Raceway Park in 2010.
In addition to pre-season practice, Waynesfield Raceway Park is pleased to announce that we will be holding open practice every Tuesday throughout the season beginning on Tuesday April 20th.
WRP will officially open the 2010 season with a 2 day show Saturday April 17th featuring the Lee’s Hydraulics Non Wing Sprints, Fowler and Hadding 1000cc Mini-Sprints, JR and Sons Service Center Compacts, and the Miracle Motorsports Tuff Trucks; and Sunday April 18th featuring the UMP Late Models, Post Agri-Service UMP Modifieds, JR and Sons Service Center Compacts, and Miracle Motorsports Tuff Trucks. On Saturday, gates will open at 4PM, Drivers Meeting at 6PM, Hot Laps at 6:15, Racing at 7PM. On Sunday, everything will run an hour early, in an effort to ensure that our teams and fans get home at a decent hour on Sunday night. General admission both nights will be $12.00 for adults 16 and up, $6.00 for 11 to 15 year olds, and 10 and under are FREE. Pit Passes will be $25.00
