After 3 straight weeks of Mother Nature wreaking havoc on racing activities, Waynesfield Raceway Park is itching to get back in action, and will do so in a big way beginning this Friday night with the 4th Annual Truck Pull Sponsored by Mickey Thompson Performance Tires, and will wrap up with a full racing program on Saturday, featuring the Ohio Cycleworx 360 Sprints.
Waynesfield Raceway Park’s 4th Annual Truck Pull will take place this Friday May 14, and we are pleased to announce the newly acquired sponsorship for this event, courtesy of Mickey Thompson Performance Tires. This event features one on one tug-of-war style truck pulls and will be separated into 3 classes: 5000lbs, 6500lbs, and 9500lbs. Pits and Registration will open at 4:30 PM, Grandstand Gates will open at 5:30 PM, First pull will be at 7:30 PM. General Admission $10 for ages 13 and up, $5 for 6 to 12 year olds, and kids 5 and under get in free. Pit Passes are $15 for all ages. Full concessions will be open and available, so come on out and see some wild one on one truck action this Friday night at Waynesfield.
The weekend of action continues on Saturday night May 15th as the Ohio Cycleworx 360 Sprints invade WRP for their first appearance of the 2010 season. Come witness the action as the best 360 drivers in our area do battle on the 1/3 mile bullring at Waynesfield this Saturday night. Along with the 360s, the Fowler and Hadding 1000cc Mini Sprints, Miracle Motorsports Tuff Trucks, and JR and Sons Service Center Compacts will all be in action. Pit Gates open at 4PM, Grandstand gates at 5PM, Hot Laps at 6:15PM, racing at 7PM. General Admission $12 for ages 16 and up, $6 for ages 11 to 15, and 10 and under get in FREE. Pit passes are $25
