HALL OF FAME MIDGET CLASSIC SATURDAY, SUNDAY AT ANGELL PARK

Bryan Clauson leads the USAC Mopar National Midget Series into this weekend’s back-to-back “National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame Classic” races at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisc. Clauson holds a 46-point lead over defending USAC National Midget Champ Brad Kuhn entering the pair of races Saturday and Sunday nights at the 1/3-mile dirt oval which serves as the home of the Hall of Fame.

The weekend includes the announcement of 14 new members of the Hall of Fame whom will be inducted during ceremonies at Tulsa, Okla. in January.

Clauson is the defending champion of the “:Hall of Fame Classic,” leading all but two of last year’s 30 feature laps. Kuhn finished third last year after setting the fastest qualifying time.

The races precede by one week the “Pepsi Firemen’s Midget Nationals” at the Sun Prairie oval, scheduled for Saturday night, September 4.
