August 31, 2010 – The Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders head back to the 4/10 mile CJ Speedway in Columbus Junction, Iowa this Friday night. It will mark the second appearance of the year, and 12th overall in series’ history.
The highly competitive series has seen nine different winners in twelve events this season. “Showtime” Kaley Gharst has won three times, and is one of only two multi-time winners with the Invaders in 2010. He leads the current point standings on the strength of his performance the last time out on the “Night of the Twins” at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa. Matt Sutton is 16 points behind in second, and won the other feature on August 21. “Flyin’” Ryan Jamison is third, just 35 points out of the lead.
CJ Houseman won back in May at CJ Speedway, and he became the ninth different winner there in series’ history. “The Bulldogg” Jesse Giannetto is the only multi-time winner at the facility, taking all three races contested there in 2005 on his way to the championship. Jerrod Hull, Kerry Madsen, Bobby Hawks, Nick Eastin, John Schulz, Matt Rogerson and Joey Moughan are the other winners.
Tickets are just $10 for adults, $9 for Seniors and $8 for Students! Ages 10 and under are FREE with a paid adult! For more information, visit www.CJSpeedway.com!
