Dalton Armstrong of New Castle, Ind. and Dillon Welch of Carmel, Ind. will square off in their battle for two USAC Midget championships Saturday at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Mich.
Armstrong leads Welch by 22 points in the USAC Regional standings and by just three in the USAC/WOMS standings going into the race at Berlin.
Both champions will be crowned at Berlin, while Toledo (Ohio) Raceway will host a “special non-points event” for both on October 16.
Armstrong scored a feature win Berlin in June, while DMS Motorsports teammates Daniel Bedford and Levi Roberts recorded victories at Berlin in June and August.
