At a Glance: Lowes Foods World of Outlaws World Finals Presented By Bimbo Bakeries and Tom’s Snacks

Concord, NC—November 1, 2010—

WHAT

•The 2010 season wraps up this week with the Lowes Foods World of Outlaws World Finals Presented By Bimbo Bakeries and Tom’s Snacks at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, which will be even bigger this year, as the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and World of Outlaws Late Model Series will be joined by the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds for the first time ever. Entering the World Finals, Jason Meyers leads four-time and defending series champion Donny Schatz by 96 points and 20-time series titlist Steve Kinser by 100 markers as he looks to claim his first World of Outlaws title and become the first driver ever from the state of California to claim a title. The World Finals kick off with two rounds of time trials on Thursday, November 4 which will set the lineups for heat races on Friday, November 5 and Saturday, November 6. The finale on November 6 will air live on SPEED beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern.

WHEN

•On Thursday, November 4 at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, the pit gates will open at 11 a.m. Eastern, with the grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Eastern and hot laps are set for 5:45 p.m. Eastern. The first round of World of Outlaws Time Trials are set for 7:05 p.m. Eastern with the second round tentatively set for 9:10 p.m. Eastern.

•On Friday, November 5 at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, the pit gates will open at 12 p.m. Eastern, with the grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Eastern and hot laps are set for 5 p.m. Eastern, with racing set to begin at 6 p.m. Eastern.

•On Saturday, November 6 at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, the pit gates will open at 12 p.m. Eastern, with the grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Eastern and hot laps are set for 5 p.m. Eastern, with racing set to begin at 6 p.m. Eastern.

WHERE

• The Dirt Track at Charlotte is located in Concord, North Carolina. Take I-85 to Exit 49 (Speedway Blvd./Concord Mills, then travel East towards the Speedway. There is parking available on the right.
