Mercer, PA (January 10, 2011) – Mercer Raceway Park fans will be in for an action-packed season as the track announced today the divisional lineup for the weekly 2011 Saturday Night Live program.
In addition to boasting the only Saturday night 410 Sprint Car show in Western Pennsylvania, Mercer Raceway Park race fans will be in for a treat as two new divisions will be added to the track on a weekly basis.
In 2011, Mercer Raceway Park’s weekly Saturday Night Live lineup will consist of the LuxAire Heating and Cooling 410 Sprint Cars, Approved Toilet Rentals 358 Modifieds, the new Outlaw Sprint Warriors, Stock Cars, Big Daddy’s Speed Center Mod Lites and Big Dog RC Mini Stocks.
The exciting new Outlaw Sprint Warrior division will debut at Mercer Raceway Park during the 2011 season. The class, designed as a learning division for future 410 sprint car drivers, will allow for sprint cars with 305 or 5.3L EFI engines to compete with few modifications, including a sealed motor program. For questions about the Outlaw Sprint Warrior class, please contact Divisional Representative Ray Baselj at 724-816-5368.
A meeting for the Outlaw Sprint Warrior division will be held on Sunday, January 16th at 2:30p.m. at Bill McCandless Ford in Mercer, PA. All interested drivers and owners are welcome to attend.
Mercer Raceway Park will bring back the Mod Lite division in 2011 on a weekly basis to top off a six-division show. A weekly division in 2009, the Mod Lite class supported the racetrack with nearly full fields and rousing racing action at each 2010 appearance, including the 2010 Little Guy Nationals. For questions, please contact Bill Bauer, President Modified Lite Stars, at 814-442-1738.
Mercer Raceway Park will welcome Big Dog RC Raceway, located in Stoneboro, PA, as a new divisional sponsor to the Saturday Night Live program in addition to long-time valued partners LuxAire Heating and Cooling, Approved Toilet Rentals and Big Daddy’s Speed Center.
