Rio Vista, CA – February 16, 2011…The ever popular sprint car news website Hoseheads.com and custom print maker Grant’s Fine Art are partnering with the Golden State King of the West Sprints this season to present the Rookie of the Year Award for the tour.
Hoseheads founder Allan Holland has built and grown Hoseheads.com to be the leader in sprint car news and information on the net and is happy to be supporting the King of the West Sprint Car Series this season. Hoseheads will be awarding the Rookie of the Year this year with $500 and to be eligible, rookie contenders must run the Hoseheads decal on their cars, which will be provided.
“I really like what the whole staff of the Golden State KWS Series is doing to help rebuild 410 sprint car racing in California,” said Holland. “410 sprint car racing has seemed to be going down in California and it’s great to see the King of the West Series making an effort to keep 410’s alive.”
Likewise Tim Grant of Grant’s Fine Art is also excited to be supporting the Rookie of the Year Award and will be donating a one of a kind, custom print. Grant’s Fine Art offers some of the best art designs in the country and offers more than photo replication and generic art creations. They tailor each and every art piece to the customer’s individual needs & desires.
“I’ve always been partial to the Rookie of the Year through the years so I’m happy to support the award with the King of the West Series this season,” said Grant. “They’re doing a great job with things so it’s an exciting time for sprint car racing out here.”
Golden State King of the West Operations Manager George Hague is also pleased to have Holland and Grant’s support for the 2011 season.
“It’s real nice to have Allan Holland and Hoseheads, as well as Tim Grant with Grant’s Fine Art on board with us to sponsor the Rookie of the Year Award,” Hague commented. “To have a nationally known website giving us their support is a great asset and we can’t thank Allan enough for his kind words and support. Tim Grant also makes some beautiful custom prints so it’ll be another really cool award for the Rookie of the Year.”
