Sander’s last week finished second in the main event at Ocean Speedway with the Golden State King of the West Sprints, in what was just his second 410 start. The 18-year-old gave eventual winner Tim Kaeding a run for his money and missed out on the upset victory by just inches.
Gregg also had a solid outing this past weekend by finishing fifth in the main event at Ocean Speedway.
The wheel-man of the Bret Ervin Racing No. 53 is currently tied for fifth in the KWS standings with 13-time Golden State champ Brent Kaeding. Gregg won his first ever main event in California at the Marysville Raceway Park in 2007 and will talk about his chances for the coming weekend.
