Sarver, PA (May 12, 2011) After beating the weather two straight Friday Nights, the Action Track will go for a hat trick on Friday, May 13 for round three of Fab Four Racing. The Ti22 Performance DIRTcar Sprints have some extra loot on the line with a special $2,000-to-win purse. Budweiser Points will be on the line for all divisions of Fab Four Racing, including the Ti22 Sprints.
Danny Holtgraver, Gregg Satterlee, Jeremiah Shingledecker and Rob Shook lead their respective divisions in Bud Points and all except for Holtgraver are looking for repeat trips to Sheetz Victory Lane after winning features last Friday Night. Holtgraver led the first half of the feature before giving way to Ohio All Star and Outlaw veteran Danny Smith and will be looking for his first win of the 2011 season.
With the World of Outlaws and All Star Circuit of Champions backloaded on the 2011 schedule, this is the first big sprint car race at the Action Track this season. Next Friday, May 20 the Hoosier Racing Tire BRP Modified Tour drops the green flag on their 2011 season at Lernerville Speedway along with the other divisions of Fab Four Racing on Bowser Pontiac Night. Defending Series Champion Rex King Sr. has been on a tear at Sharon Speedway this season and is looking for redemption after a last lap pass at last fall’s BRP finale during the DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede.
Then on Memorial Day weekend, Lernerville Speedway is hosting bookend events of Friday, May 27 and Monday, May 30. Friday Night is a Fab Four Racing program and Armed Forces Night. Memorial Day marks the return of the USAC Wingless Sprints and the debut of the FASTRAK Northeast Late Model Series. After another Fast Friday of Fab Four Racing, the Lernerville Speedway will lend its support to the Pittsburgh Circle Track Club at the annual Motorsports Day at Kennywood Park on Sunday, May 15! All drivers that bring their cars to be on display and support the club will receive free admission and four free “Ride All Day” passes. Fans are also invited to come out and check out the cars up close and personal, and maybe even take on your favorite driver in the bumper cars!
