Gary Butler of Phillipsburg, NJ captured his first feature of the season and 5th of his career at New Egypt Speedway Saturday night as he won the 30 lap Modified event sponsored by Infante Sod Farm. Butler, whose last win came one year ago tonight, won on Mother’s Day weekend for the second straight year.

A warm afternoon with sunny skies, made for a nearly perfect racing evening as Eagle Raceway greeted the large crowd that showed up for Fan Appreciation and Moms Rule Night sponsored by the Lincoln Saltdogs Saturday. Although the car count wasn’t up to the record one of a week before, there still were 164 teams signing into the pits.

Farr, Wanless Win Memorial Races In Brisbane

Robbie Farr and Todd Wanless extended their Brisbane win tallies for the season with victory in the Crispy Memorial and Danny Davidson Memorial races respectively at Titan Garages Brisbane International Speedway on Saturday night May 7. The victories marked Farr’s fifth Sprintcar win and Wanless’ ninth Midget win of the 2010/11 season with Wanless also wrapping up the inaugural Polar Ice Qld Midget Car Series with one Round remaining.
