CONCORD, N.C. — June 20, 2011 — Craig Dollansky proved to be the master of River Cities Speedway as he swept the annual World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series “Duel in the Dakotas” for his third and fourth wins of the 2011 campaign, giving the Minnesota native momentum heading into Saturday’s race at Princeton (Minn.) Speedway and Sunday’s event at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., near Sioux Falls.
North Dakota native Donny Schatz increased his points lead to 10 over Joey Saldana following the weekend events, but Schatz is still one victory away from to tying his hero Doug Wolfgang with 107 all-time wins. Defending series champion Jason Meyers remains third in points, but is still seeking his first victory of the 2011 season. If Meyers breaks through this weekend, it’ll mark his first World of Outlaws main event victory at either Princeton or Huset’s. Steve Kinser is fourth in points and a former winner at Princeton and Huset’s, while Jason Sides nearly pulled out the win on Saturday night and is aiming for his fourth victory of the season.
No doubt the racing will be fast and furious at both venues this weekend. Tune into the Dirt Radio Network at DIRTVision.com to hear Johnny Gibson call all of the action.
