Port Royal – Port Royal Speedway will present Fan Appreciation Night this Saturday, July 16 at 7:30 PM.

The bold promotion will have adult general admission prices set at just $10.00 for a full program of Aumillers Insurance 410 sprint cars, AB Auto Glass late models, 305 sprints and an enduro dash. Students ages 12 – 17 will be admitted for just $5.00.

Port Royal Speedway continues to be the only area speedway running two premier divisions on a weekly basis, hosting headlines in the 410 sprints and super late models.

Lance Dewease became the third different sprint car driver to win more than once at the Juniata County speedplant on July 9. Dewease joins Justin Henderson and Greg Hodnett as two-time 2011 winners at the oval.

Still searching for his first 2011 Port win, Mike Wagner is the current Port sprints point leader.

Mitch Hack became the sixth different winner in nine races this season for the late models on July 9. Gary Beward leads all drivers in the category with a trio of wins.

Hack passed Scott Haus, the current late model point leader, for his win on Saturday night. Haus has one Port win to his name this season.

The appearance by the 305 sprints will be the fourth this season at the track. To date at the Port in 305 action, the Wagner brothers of Logan and Michael II, have dominated action with Logan scoring twice.

Enduro dashes this season have gone to Bill Powell, Bryan Leister, Craig Imes and Jason Zook.

Gates for Fan Appreciation Night open at 5:30 PM.
