KNOXVILLE, IOWA (July 12, 2011) – National Sprint Car Hall of Fame (NSCHoF) inductee and driver-turned-media-member Brad Doty will sign copies of his recently re-released book “Still Wide Open” in the National Sprint Car Museum’s booth this weekend during Eldora Speedway’s Kings Royal championship event.

Brad will be in the booth, alongside the museum’s brand-new Eagle/Ott raffle sprint car, on Friday, July 15, from 4 until 5 p.m., and again on Saturday, July 16, from 3 until 5 p.m. According to interim museum special events coordinator David Herrmann, “We are excited that Brad Doty will be joining us in the booth on both Friday and Saturday of Kings Royal weekend. There are few people more popular in Ohio racing circles than Brad Doty. He is a great ambassador for sprint car racing and it is always an honor having him represent the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum, too.”

The “Still Wide Open” book, co-written by award-winning journalist Dave Argabright, will be available for sale in the museum booth at Eldora Speedway this weekend. The book is also available on the museum store’s www.sprintcarstuff.com web site.
