By Bob Baker

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (July 31, 2011) – This year’s Knoxville Nationals Fan Fair forums and “Sixty Minutes in the Trostle Garage with…“ autograph sessions in the National Sprint Car Museum are taking shape as the August 10-13 Goodyear Knoxville Nationals near. National Sprint Car Hall of Fame inductee Bob Trostle and American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) racer Brady Bacon are the latest two to commit to sign autographs, while Knoxville regulars Danny Lasoski, Kevin Swindell, Robby Wolfgang, Davey Heskin, Terry McCarl, Austin McCarl, Mark Dobmeier, Josh Schneiderman, and Don Droud, Jr., are the latest to agree to participate in the Fan Fair.

According to museum curator Tom Schmeh, “We are very excited about this year’s Knoxville Nationals Fan Fair in the museum, as our moderators have done a great job in lining up their special guests. I would like to take this time to thank Dean Mills, Johnny Gibson, Larry Boos, David Mills, Bill Wright, Stacy Ervin, Greg Nicol, Gary Guehler and Bruce Ellis for moderating these live forums on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week. Then on Saturday, August 13, we have three great historical forums scheduled, hosted by Les Randall, Teresa Adrian and Bruce Boertje. Finally, we are thrilled that Bob Trostle is leading the way in signing autographs in his re-created garage in the museum again this year. We will have many drivers, including Brady Bacon, that will be meeting and greeting fans in the garage, for one hour at a time, from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day of the Goodyear Knoxville Nationals. We will release the ‘Trostle Garage’ autograph session schedule early next week.”
