Rio Vista, CA – September 28, 2011…One of most lucrative prizes drivers have been chasing this season with the Golden State King of the West Sprint Car Series has been the opportunity to win a complete sprint car, which will be given away at the championship awards banquet.

To be eligible for the sprint car giveaway, drivers/teams must have not missed more than two races and at this point there are currently 15 drivers in the running for the huge prize at the banquet. The awards banquet will be held towards the end of January and when adding up cash and contingencies we currently have over $300,000 that will be handed out.

With that said, the King of the West team picked up a new 87/40 Maxim raised rail Chassis with body work, floor pan, dash and motor plate last week courtesy of Kaeding Performance located in Campbell, California.

“We can’t thank Kaeding Performance enough for donating a Maxim Chassis kit for the giveaway car,” said KWS Operations Manager George Hague. “We appreciate Brent’s guidance and the support he’s given us through contingencies and the giveaway car this season. We’re looking forward to announcing others that are supporting the giveaway car as well so stay tuned.”

The Kaeding family has had a long and successful history in both racing and business in California and over the years they combined the two into a successful racing business. The property where the business is located has been in the family since the early 1940’s.

The family is represented by three generations of champions including Howard, Brent, Tim and Bud. Kaeding Performance relies on this racing experience to offer their customers the latest in sprint car technology, set-up advice and confidence in the parts they sell.

Their staff has many years of racing experience as well so feel free to rely on them for any and all of your racing needs.

The Golden State King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series will conclude its season on October 15 at the Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway in Hanford, California, with the running of the annual Cotton Classic. Last season Elk Grove’s Kyle Larson claimed the Cotton Classic after an epic battle with Tim Kaeding and Jonathan Allard.

T. Kaeding goes into the night on October 15 with a large advantage in the standings, as he looks to wrap up the first California 410 Sprint Car title for car owners Dennis & Teresa Roth. “TK” has won six main events this season and has been a model of consistency, having finished among the top-five in all but one event. The race to watch though will be the fight for fifth, in which Jason Statler, Willie Croft & Andy Gregg are all separated by just 10-markers.
