USCS Sprint and Modifieds headline the USCS “Spring Xplosion” 2012 at Batesville on Friday, March 30th

Atlanta, GA – March 16, 2012 – The United Sprint Car Series “Outlaw Thunder” Tour presented by Goodyear winged sprint cars and the K&N Filters USCS Modified Touring Series “Outlaw Modifieds” invade the high banks of Batesville Motor Speedway in Batesville, Arkansas on Friday, March 30th. The event entitled the USCS “Spring Xplosion” 2012 will feature the top winged sprint car drivers in the South in a 130 mile per hour assault on Arkansas’ fastest clay oval. The event also features the thundering K&N Filters USCS Modifieds, who also expect to bring some of the top drivers in the Mid South to the speedway to challenge a competitive field of Batesville regulars with door to door action for $1000 to the winner in that division.

Both USCS series made the only previous visit to BMS July 10, 2009. Ten-time United Sprint Car Series National Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee won the sprint car portion of the event. Peyton Taylor from Batesville was the victor in the USCS Modified Touring Series main event.

Additionally on the racing card will be the Batesville Street Stocks racing for$ 500 to win. The Factory Stock and Front Wheel Drive divisions will get their first laps of the 2012 season on the speedway in their season opening contests.
