ROCHESTER, NY, (March 20, 2012)- This will be the 10th year of Patriot Sprint action, the second operating as the Patriot Sprint Tour; for the second consecutive year, three major sponsors have also returned to help lead the charge.
Returning for 2012 will be A-Verdi Storage Containers, Original Pizza Logs and Mike Emhof Motorsports. These marketing partners have been aligned with the PST for various lengths and their contributions have been felt by drivers, teams and fans.
A-Verdi Storage Containers, of Savannah, NY, has been a Patriot Partner since 2007 and is back in a big way again this year. The A-Verdi brand has been involved in a variety of ways, including the King of Central New York and the King of Upstate New York Titles. This season, A-Verdi will present all of the events in New York, including serving as title sponsor for the season opener at Fulton Speedway on April 14.

Original Pizza Logs, a food favorite distributed by Finger Food Products of Niagara Falls, NY, is back with the PST for a second year. Like last season, Original Pizza Logs will be the title sponsor of the Dash Series; but this year there will be additional incentives.
At each full-point Patriot Sprint Tour event in both America and Canada in 2012, there will be the popular Original Pizza Logs Four Laps of Fame right in the center of the program to help set spots 9-14 in the A-Main. On two of the biggest night of the year, at Ransomville on July 27 and Black Rock on August 10, the Four Laps of Fame will be transformed into the Original Pizza Logs Super Dash. An additional $500 will be spread out through the six-car field, which will run a five-lap race on these nights. When the season is complete, Original Pizza Logs will once again pay out a point fund to the drivers that have accumulated the most dash points this season.
“We are excited to have Bob Cordova of Finger Food Products and his line of Original Pizza Logs back on board with the PST this season,” stated Emhof. “Having them in 2011 was a great boost to the series and we are really excited about the prospects of having them as a big part of our growth going forward.”
Original Pizza Logs are now found in 10 varieties, with the Pepperoni & Cheese the most popular. Mike Emhof Motorsports has obviously been on board with the Patriots since 2007, but their backing is the driving force for making this 10th year of Patriot racing as special as it will be.
MEM has put forth a pair of aggressive point funds for 2012 split between America and Canada, with the American champion scoring a $10,000 check and the Canadian champ pocketing $5,000.
“I feel that splitting the series and increasing the point fund will foster better racing, better car counts, and more energy than we have ever seen before,” said Emhof. “This is the best way we can think of to recognize the 10th year of Patriot Sprint racing.
