The 2012 USAC Western Classic Sprint Car Series will now debut April 20 at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville, Calif. following postponement of Saturday night’s race at Madera, Calif. due to rain.
Madera’s “Gerhardt Classic” will hopefully be rescheduled for later in the season with a new date yet to be announced.
Defending Western Classic Sprint Champion Geoff Ensign finished second in last year’s Western Classic feature at Watsonville behind race winner Cory Kruseman.
