CAMARGO, IL (4-4-12) – The University of Northwestern Ohio
All Star Circuit of Champions has announced changes to the series’ open red
rules effective immediately.
Should series officials decide to open a red flag – in the event of a
lengthy stoppage of the race – each driver can have as many crew members
attend to the car as they wish. Any changes can be made to the car with the
exception of tires – no tire changes will be permitted or the driver will
be sent to the tail.
Each open red will be under a time limit. When UNOH All Star officials
sound the all-clear horn, all crew members must exit the speedway
immediately. Any team holding up the restart of the race will have their
car go to the tail.
