The USAC Mopar National and Western Midget Series return to Las Vegas, Nev. November 17 for their first appearance in two years on the 1/3-mile paved Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring.

The track has earned a reputation for being unpredictable, with 11 different race winners in the 11 USAC Midget features held there since 1986.

Kody Swanson was the 2010 USAC Midget winner at the Bullring. Defending National Midget Champ Bryan Clauson won at LVMS in 2009 and other previous USAC Midget winners at the Bullring include Robby Flock, Rusty Rasmussen, Page Jones, Jason Leffler, Rick Hendrix, Tony Stewart, Rory Price and Zach Schiff.

The November 17 race will kick off the final “swing” for the National and Western series, which concludes November 22 with the 72nd running of the “Turkey Night Grand Prix” in California.

Swanson holds the existing one-lap USAC Midget track record at the LVMS Bullring at 13.782 seconds, which he recorded in 2010.
