From USAC
The weekend finishes off with the inaugural “Hall of Fame Classic” at Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont for the Traxxas Silver Crown Series on Saturday.
The event is held in conjunction with the announcement of the first-ever class being inducted into the USAC Hall of Fame, which includes J.C. Agajanian, Mario Andretti, Gary Bettenhausen, Tom Binford, Jimmy Bryan, Duane Carter, A.J. Foyt, Tony Hulman, Parnelli Jones, Mel Kenyon, Roger McCluskey, and Rich Vogler.
A 100-lap Main Event will cap the evening, where Kingsburg, California’s Kody Swanson looks to back up his win in last July’s “J.D. Byrider 100” at LOR.
The event will be the first on a nine-race calendar for the Silver Crown Series, which Levi Jones is looking to conquer for the third-straight year. The race will be the first run with Ignite Ethanol Racing Fuel, which has started its support of the series this season.
