MUST SEE RACING XTREME SPRINT SERIES KICKS OFF PAY LESS LITTLE 500 WEEK ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT

ANDERSON, Ind. (May 21, 2012) – The fourth annual Must See Racing 60 presented by Sam Pierce Chevrolet will bring the fastest short track cars in the World to Anderson Speedway on Wednesday, May 23. The TRUFUEL Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series presented by Biobased.US (MSRXSS) will be competing in their fourth race of the season.

Drivers to earn victory in the early potion of the MSRXSS season include California’s Tanner Swanson at Five Flags Speedway, Brian Olson at Mobile International Speedway and most recently Troy Decaire during the Xtreme Speed Challenge at Winchester Speedway.

The event at Anderson is expected to draw most of the top winged pavement drivers from around the country. Expected entrants include: Jeff Bloom, Jason Blonde, Tanner Swanson, Kody Swanson, Jo Jo Helberg, Jimmy McCune, Troy DeCaire, Jason Cox, Hank Lower among many others.

Local driver, Aaron Pierce, from nearby Daleville, is no stranger to Anderson Speedway and particularly Sprint Car events. Pierce has won Sprint Car events Anderson Speedway with other sanctioning bodies including the United States Auto Club. But, he would like nothing more than to pick up a MSRXSS win at his home track.

Joining the Winged Sprint Cars, the Mel Kenyon Midgets will make their second appearance at the quarter-mile oval. In the initial appearance in late April, Nick Hamilton led all 30 laps to win the feature victory chased the entire distance by Cordy Horn and Grant Galloway.

On Wednesday, May 23, spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with the racing beginning at 7. Advance Admission is $10 for adults and $15 day of race. Tickets are $4 for kids ages 6-12 with children five and under getting in free.

First round qualifications for the 64th Pay Less Little 500 will take place on Thursday, May 24, beginning at 1:30 p.m. with the 33-car field set during second round of qualifications on Friday afternoon. On Friday Night, The Ohio Express concert will be showcased at 7:30 pm. The 64th Pay Less Little 500 goes green approximately at 8 p.m. on Saturday night.
