Tracy Hines of New Castle, Ind. emerged from last week’s four USAC National events with a 14-point lead over Levi Jones in the USAC National Drivers Championship standings.

Hines scored a pair of “top-10” finishes in the four races conducted last week, while Jones had a third, fourth and sixth in his three starts.

The National Drivers Championship battle, which is determined by a driver’s best 25 National feature finishes during the calendar year, moves to Toledo, Ohio and Morris, Ill. this week. The Traxxas Silver Crown cars and Mopar National Midgets compete in this Friday’s “Rollie Beale 100” program at Toledo Speedway, while the Midgets also race Saturday in the “Freedom 100” at Grundy County Speedway in Morris.

Darren Hagen is currently third in the NDC points, only 13 behind Jones.
