The USAC/STARS D1 Midget Series resumes this Saturday night at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Ill. and the series point lead is up for grabs.
Jim Anderson of Joliet, Ill. has an 11-point lead over Patrick Wilda of Minooka, Ill. entering Saturday’s race. Anderson won the series opener, while Wilda opened the 2012 campaign with a trio of consecutive second-places.
Four D1 races at Morris this year have produced four different winners, including Anderson, Kody Swanson, Mario Clouser and Kyle Hamilton.
