WILMOT, Wisc. (July 23, 2012) – Dale Blaney won the Outlaws Sprintacular race at Wilmot Raceway, a special event for competitors in two sprint car series. The event matched competitors in the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series against the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions.

Competitors in both series race on Goodyear tires, as most major touring winged sprint car series do. Goodyear is also the title sponsor for the Goodyear Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway in August.

The Sprintacular attracted 38 entries. There were 24 starters.

Blaney’s win in the 35 lapper came at the expense of Tim Shaffer, who finished second. Bill Balog finished third, followed by Cap Henry and Mike Reinke. David Gravel posted the quickest lap in qualifying.

Goodyear employs about 73,000 people at manufacturing plants and facilities in 22 nations. Based in Akron, Ohio, Goodyear is among the largest tiremakers in the world and is the world-wide leader in race tire innovation.
