DARRAH WINS SUMMER NATIONALS RACE AT WILLIAMS GROVE

MECHANICSBURG, Penn. (July 23, 2012) – Cody Darrah didn’t leave room for doubt. He led every lap and won the Summer Nationals World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series race at Williams Grove Speedway.

Steve Kinser, who leads the WoO standings, was presented with a check for $10,000 by Goodyear. The tiremaker spread $55,000 among the top 10 drivers in the WoO standings at the midway point of the series.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the Outlaws Sprint Car Series and also provides tires for the weekly program at Williams Grove.

The Summer Nationals attracted 45 entries, pitting the loosely-confederated Pennsylvania Posse against the touring regulars of the WoO. Darrah is a WoO regular.

Jason Sides finished second, followed by Greg Hodnet, Kraig Kinser and Adam Wilt.

Kinser finished the event with 5,513 points. Donny Schatz is second in the standings with 5,472.
