Dodge City, Kansas – August 11, 2012 – Logan Forler took the lead from his pole position and never looked back in claiming his first career National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products sprint car feature Saturday night as the tour made their first and only appearance of the season at Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas.

Forler, aboard the #5h Harley Van Dyke owned sprinter, got the jump on outside front row starter C.J. Johnson and took the lead as the green flag fell for the twenty-five lap feature. He would quickly pull to a ten car length lead while with Patrick Stasa, Luke Cranston and Jordan Weaver your top five after the first lap was complete.

Lap three saw the first and only caution of the race fall when Ray Seeman spun to a stop at the bottom of turn four.

Forler throttled away from the field on the restart and quickly open a half stretch lead by lap seven. The Arizona driver first encountered lapped traffic on lap nine, but found little trouble as he continued to set a torrid pace out front.

At the races midway point it was still Forler, followed by Johnson, Cranston, seventh starting Taylor Velasquez and Stasa with the leader still out front with a comfortable margin.

With the help of more lapped traffic, Johnson would close the gap to a six car length deficit with five laps to go but that is as close as the current series point leader would get as Forler would hold on to claim the $2000 victory and first with the series. He would also become the ninth different feature winner at the Dodge City oval in the past nine series appearances.

Johnson settled for second while Velasquez won a hard fought battle with Stasa and Mike Peters to finish third.

The eight lap heat races for the sixteen car field were won by Forler and Johnson.

The next event for the NCRA 360 sprint car division will take place on Saturday night, August 18, as they make their annual August appearance at Mid-Nebraska Speedway in Doniphan, Nebraska.

The series would like to take this time to thank their sprint car division partners and sponsors for the 2012 race season:
