A third-place finish in Saturday night’s “D’Arcy Shoot-Out” at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Ill. enabled Jim Anderson to maintain a 98-point lead in the latest USAC/STARS D1 Midget Series.
Patrick Wilda, who finished fourth Saturday and trails Anderson in the current standings, will try again to decrease the lead when the series returns to Grundy County this Saturday.
Kyle Hamilton of Danville, Ind. passed Billy Hulbert on the 14th lap and led the final 37 laps of Saturday’s “D’Arcy Shoot-Out.” Hulbert finished second after leading 13 laps. Anderson and Wilda were followed by fifth-place finished Brad Greenup at the checkered flag.
