Capping West Coast at Antioch

From CDR

A busy stretch of nine events in just thirteen days along the West Coast came to a close on Monday for Craig Dollansky and the Big Game Treestands #7 team. After leading the most laps of the inaugural World of Outlaws event at Antioch Speedway last year but not picking up the victory, ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ was ready to make his 2nd appearance at the 3/8-mile.

The night got off to a rough start for the Elk River, Minnesota native as he posted the 14th fastest lap in qualifying. Just missing out on the heat race inversion put the Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim on the inside of row three for heat competition where Dollansky finished 6th in the 8-lap event to transfer into the main event.

In the 30-lap A-Main the MobileStar #7 lined up outside row seven. Following a red flag on the opening lap, a long stretch of green flag action endured until 10 circuits remaining when Dollansky ran seventeenth. After another red on the restart, the Eaton’s Aeroquip Performance Products backed sprinter spun with two laps to go. Able to restart for the green-white-checkered finish Dollansky made the most out of it advancing to 13th before the checkered flag flew.

With 2012 action on the West Coast complete, the Big Game Treestands #7 team now makes the long trip to Spencer, Iowa for racing this Friday. Action on September 14th marks the second time this season that CDR Promotions will bring the World of Outlaws to the Clay County Fairgrounds, this time for the 6th Annual Arnold Motor Supply Shootout.
