SCHATZ’ WoO LEAD BUILDS AND END OF SEASON LOOMS

AKRON, Ohio (Sept. 17, 2012) – Donny Schatz won one race and finished second in another as he stretched his lead in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series drivers championship standings.

Schatz won at Clay County Fair Speedway and won at Deer Creek Speedway as the WoO season began moving to its conclusion.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the WoO. The tiremaker provides the same line of tires for the Outlaws that it supplies other touring series and weekly racing programs around the country.

Schatz’s victory came in Spencer, Iowa. Lucas Wolfe finished second, followed by Steve Kinser, Jason Sides and Cody Darrah.

Craig Dollansky won at Deer Creek, which is in Spring Valley, Minn. Schatz was second, followed by Joey Saldana, Jac Haudenschild and Chad Kemenah.

Schatz’ lead in the chase for the championship is growing. He held 8,652 points after the Deer Creek race. Dollansky was next with 8,556.
