Excitement grows for Keystone RaceSaver® Challenge

This weekend RaceSaver® Sprint cars will take center stage at Port Royal Speedway. The series which is the brain child of racing Innovator French Grimes will headline as part of the Blue Collar Classic which will showcase weekend racers and celebrate the success of Grimes vision which has grown nationally to over 750 cars.

The race is being organized by The PA Sprint Series which is the RaceSaver® region in Central PA with over 50 cars attending including cars from several other local regions including; TSRS (New Jersey) CRSA (New York) Dog Hollow (western PA) and the Virginia Sprint Series which is also managed by Grimes the National Director of RaceSaver®

Fans will be treated to exciting Sprint car racing featuring stars from all over the northeast competing against outstanding local talent Including multi race winners this season like Tyler Bear, this years PASS pick 10 & Path Valley Champion, Logan Wagner (track champion at Susquehanna) Kody Lehman, Mike Koehler and Mark Watkins. In fact it’s estimated that of the 50+ entrants nearly half have won races this year in the RaceSaver® competition!

The total payout for the event is over $10,000 paying $750 to the winner and $250 to 24th position as well as a purse for the b-main. Prize money is distributed fairly to reward weekend racers and make travel more affordable which is a cornerstone of RaceSaver®. Heat money is also being donated by Racers Used Parts Warehouse. The feature winner will also receive Traveling expense money payable at the RaceSaver® Nationals next May donated by Jimmy Stenger Engines. The Nationals are held annually in Virginia at The nationals are held at Fork Mountian Speedway and will be held in May of 2013.

Teams must pay a $50 registration fee and should register on-line at pasprintseries.com by Wednesday. Teams that are already registered should check the web site Wednesday and Friday for tech details and procedures as they are finalized.
