Heading into this weekend’s World of Outlaws events, Jonathan Allard had hoped to better his second place finish last weekend, however after turning over late in Friday’s feature, JA’s entire weekend seem to go down hill.

Breaking in the Stockton 99 Speedway, JA timed his Williams Motorsports machine in 18th quickest, and narrowly missed the heat race inversion as he started fifth in the second heat.

Scoring a third place finish, Allard earned the transfer into what would be a very wild feature event.

Lining up in the 17th spot, Allard found turns one and two to his liking, as he was able to gain ground on that side of the track.

Working up into the top 12, Allard got up over the banking in three and four, and flipped his machine on a restart, ending his night, and causing damage to what he believes would effect his night on Saturday.

Checking in to his home track, Allard would struggle early, and struggle often.

“Overall it was disappointing,” he said. “Chico (CA) is our playground, and it probably looked like we had never been there before.”

Timing in 24th, JA would go on to finish fifth in his heat, and sneak into the feature event.

Though he was in the feature, his nigh would not get any better, and he struggled to a 22nd place finish.

“Our car was off all night, and I think we might of missed something after we checked the car out following our flip on Friday. My guys threw everything at it, and we just could not make it work.”
