After making some good laps in Tulare, CA last weekend, DJ Netto had hopes of a good weekend in Northern California, however, the youngster struggled with his car on Friday night, and ended up missing the show.

“We had a bad night,” he said. “I think we had some stuff a little off from our hit last weekend, and it hampered our car.”

A 32nd best qualifying effort, put Netto and his Netto Agriculture/Penny Newman Grain/Bogies Auto Parts machine eighth in his heat, where he would work to a sixth place finish, but missed out on the feature event.

Starting 10th in the LCS, Netto quickly went backwards, as he struggled with the handling of his car.

When the checkered flew, he finished in the 14th spot.

With their apparent issues, Netto and his team opted not to make the trip north to Chico, CA and decided to save their equipment, and go through it for this weekends race.

“We had some issues that we could not get figured out, so we opted to head home, and get things sorted out, rather then head to Chico (CA) and have the same struggles.

DJ and his Netto Racing team would like to thank Netto Agriculture, Penny Newman Grain, Boogies Auto Parts, Vanderpol Enterprises, and BR Motorsports for their support in 2013.
