Bell Continues Impressive Debut by Winning at Lawrenceburg

Lawrenceburg Speedway

Lawrenceburg, IN — (April 13, 2013) — Norman, Oklahoma’s Christopher Bell hadn’t seen Lawrenceburg Speedway till 3 weeks ago when he showed up for practice at the 3/8 mile dirt track .  He put down some extremely fast laps in practice.  Then loaded up the Keith Kunz #67 and headed to the Brownstown Speedway for his first sprint car start.  He went out and won the race.  Last week, Bell struggled to finish 19th at Lawrenceburg for the USAC show.  For the first race of the season for The Lawrenceburg Chevrolet Spint Cars, Bell started on the outside of the front row and led every lap.  The rest of the top 5 included challengers who were racing hard trying to find a way around Bell including Robert Ballou, Hunter Schuerenberg, Brady Bacon, and Justin Grant who started 14th and finished 5th.  It was Bell’s 2nd feature win in a sprint car in 3 starts.   Heat race winners were Bell, Landon Simon, Robert Ballou, Brady Bacon, and Logan Jarrett.  Gary Taylor and Chad Boespflug won the 2 B-mains.  The Lawrenceburg Chevrolet Sprint Cars return to the speedway next Saturday night, April 20th.
