The hottest driver in northern California right now is Willie Croft as the Sacramento, CA driver backed last weeks win at the Placerville Speedway up by winning Friday night at the Silver Dollar Speedway in his own Willie Croft Racing No.29 before winning the King of the West opener Saturday night in the Tri-C Machine No.3c.

“This is absolutely unbelievable,” Croft said. “To win anytime is special, but three in a row is surreal, but is a testament to all of my guys.”

Saturday night, Croft and his Tri-C Machine team checked into the Antioch Speedway with all the confidence in the world.

Timing in third fastest, Croft then scored a second place finish in his heat aboard his JRI Shocks/NAAKE Suspension/Holey Smokes BBQ backed entry, earning him a spot in the dash.

When the dust settled on the dash grudge draw, Croft shared the front row with Rico Abreu.

Battling tooth and nail with Abreu, Croft would settle for second, putting his Christian Stover Foundation/ButlerBuilt/Arai backed entry on the front row of the 30-lap feature.

With the first three attempts at a start being negated by cautions, Croft finally won the drag race into turn one, and set sail on the field.

On the slick track, Croft worked the bottom of the speedway to near perfection as he was never seriously challenged for the top spot, and he cruised on to his third win in as many night, and his fifth consecutive top-three finish.

“I have so much confidence right now, it really makes the racing seem easy,” he said. “The cautions fell in our way tonight, just as we got into traffic, and I knew someone would have to really have something up there sleeve if they were going to go around the outside of us. I’m just thrilled to get the Lamar family in victory lane again.”

Friday night, Croft opted to take his personal car to the Silver Dollar Speedway, and it worked out for him.

Starting on the front row, Croft wired the field, and picked up the win with his Tri-C Motorsports team in the pits helping him out.

“It was awesome to get to Chico with the same group of guys,” he said. “We are working together, and as a team we grabbed the win.”

The Tri-C Motorsports team would like to thank Tri-C Machine, JRI Shocks, NAAKE Suspension, Holey Smokes BBQ, The Christian Stover Foundation, ButlerBuilt, Arai, Brown and Miller, Sander Engineering, FK Rod Ends, Hinchman Indy, Schoenfeld, K&N, Smith Precision Products, A.R.T., Kaeding Performance, Dan Olson Products, Vortex Wings, AIC Powdercoating, and GUTS for their support in 2013.

2013 BY THE NUMBERS: Races-13, Wins-3, Top 5’s-5, Top 10’s-7.

ON TAP: Croft will look to stay hot, as this weekend as he will be back at the Silver Dollar Speedway on Friday night, and at the Placerville Speedway on Saturday night for the second round of KWS action.
