Looking to defend his turf against the All Star Circuit of Champions, and gain some important points for the All Star East Region, Lance Dewease did both as he scored top 10’s at both Williams Grove and Port Royal over the weekend.

The weekend kicked off at the Williams Grove Speedway where Lance hoped to personally keep the PA Posse’s 26-race win streak alive against the All Stars.

With 43 cars on hand, Dewease timed his Lelands.com/Conduit Connections/Pasquirellos backed entry in 12th fastest.

Starting fourth in his heat, Dewease was able to get past Jim Siegal and Danny Holtgraver to take over the second spot, and put his Penske Shocks/Wings Unlimited/Brown and Miller backed entry into the feature event.

Starting in the eighth spot, Dewease committed himself to the bottom of the famed ½ mile speed plant early, as he got past Chad Layton and Jac Haudenschild to work up into the sixth spot.

Continuing to work the bottom, Dewease worked his way past Pat Cannon, and took over the fifth spot, before he began pressuring Tim Kaeding for fourth.

With the laps winding down, the bottom began to take rubber, and while Kaeding continued to run upstairs, Dewease snuck by and finished the race in fourth.

“Friday was a great night for our team,” he said. “We timed in pretty well, and raced well all night. To defend our turf and run fourth is awesome.”

Saturday night, Dewease and his Heffner Racing Enterprises team headed to the Port Royal Speedway again taking on the All Star Circuit of Champions.

Losing a handful of cars from Friday, Dewease timed his machine in 15th quick out of the 39 entrants.

Starting third in his heat, Dewease blew past pole sitter, Ryan Taylor, and picked up the heat win putting him machine in the feature event, but found his Keizer Wheels/DMI/Schoenfeld entry starting in the fifth row.

With the bottom the preferred line, the Fayetteville, PA driver hit his marks, and advanced three spots, capping off his weekend with a seventh place finish.

With the weekend, Dewease now sits second in All Star- East points, a crown his team is chasing after.
