CRA SPRINTS HEAD FOR YUMA APRIL 19-20

Nic Faas and Damion Gardner will lead the AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint cars to Cocopah Speedway in Yuma, Arizona for back-to-back races April 19-20. The two Mark Alexander team drivers completed a 1-2 “sweep” of last Saturday night’s 30-lap feature at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway and Faas emerged with a four-point lead over the 2005 champion.

Brian Brown – Cali Win Sets Up Final Weekend in Golden State!

It had been a bit of a drought, but Brian Brown and the Casey’s General Stores/FVP #21 team picked up a much needed win in the state of California last Saturday night. The victory came at the Gary Jacob Memorial for Rebel Cup Series sprints at the King’s Speedway in Hanford. The Grain Valley, Missouri driver will return to Hanford Friday with the World of Outlaws before hitting the Perris Auto Speedway on Saturday.

UMSS Spring Meeting Sets Tone for 2013 Season

With anticipation running high for the upcoming 2013 racing season in all three divisions, the Upper Midwest Sprintcar Series (UMSS) held its annual Spring Meeting and Tech Session at Mastell Brothers Trailer Service in Columbus, MN on Saturday April 6. A good turnout of drivers and crews were on hand representing the UMSS winged series and the TSCS non-winged division.

Sunny Weather Brings Three More Winners in Central Pa. Point Series

The weather was sunny and warmer with winter finally on it’s way out. The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars began Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway where Danny Dietrich in the Gary Kauffman #48 won his first feature of the year. Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway Rick Lafferty also parked his #0 in victory lane for his first win of the year. At Lincoln Speedway series point leader Fred Rahmer took his 2nd series win of the year in the Sell Racing 20s.
