Atlanta, GA – June 6, 2013 – In just two weeks, the United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint cars kick off the paved track portion of their 2013 and 17th anniversary season with two races on June 21st and 22nd. On the following night (Saturday.22nd) the versatile USCS drivers travel several hours North to invade the 4/10 mile asphalt oval at Lonesome Pine Raceway in Coeburn, Virginia. Both races are scheduled to pay $2000 to the winner and at least $400 for the last place starter in the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour A-Main event.

These two races are part of a five-race USCS winged sprint car mini-series of paved track events that concludes on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on their NASCAR Sprint Cup Weekend. The USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint car drivers will be featured in a 50-lap event around the track’s ¼ mile paved Thunder Ring in front of what is expected to be one of sprint car racing’s largest crowds of the 2013 season just after the NASCAR Sprint Cup division completes their qualifying.
