Fort Wayne, IN — (June 22, 2013) — Fast qualifier, Aaron Pierce, drew a six for the inversion of the feature putting Cody Swanson on the pole with Geoff Kaiser on the outside front row. Kaiser took the initial lead as Pierce came up from sixth starting spot. On lap 6 Sam Davis flipped his car off the back stretch, bringing out the red flag. Davis came out shaken up but otherwise unhurt. Kaiser leads off with Pierce behind him. Pierce takes over on lap ten. Kaiser pulls in from a tire going down later in the race giving second place to Troy DeCaire, Jerry Caryer was third, with Joe Swanson and Chris Neuenschwander rounding out the top five. Heat winners were DeCaire and Neuenschwander.
