After scoring a pair of top-ten finishes last weekend in Edmonton, Alberta, the Eyecon Trail Cameras #7 team returned to the United States making the long journey to Alger, Washington as they embarked on a grueling 2013 Gold Rush Tour of nine events in just ten days across three states beginning Friday at Skagit Speedway.

With 30 drivers signed in for the Monster Energy Meltdown, Dollansky made the most of a late draw in qualifying by stopping the clock 10th fastest circling the 3/10-mile in 10.898 seconds to make the 12-car heat inversion.  In heat competition ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ started on the pole and never looked back as he took the checkered flag to earn a spot in the dash.  Lining up inside row five on the starting grid for the 8-lap race the MobileStar Maxim crossed the finish line in 9th.

In the 25-lap A-Main the Aggressive Hydraulics #7 again lined up inside row five when the green flag waved on the main event.  Moving up a few spots to seventh before a red flag on lap 6, Dollansky raced with Daryn Pittman for sixth before another red four circuits later.  When the feature resumed the Big Game Treestands backed entry lost a spot to Steve Kinser on the restart but by lap 15 Dollansky reclaimed the seventh position from Kinser.  With the laps winding down, trouble found the #7 with just 6 laps to go as mechanical issues forced Dollansky to come to a stop bringing out the caution.  Unable to restart, a sure top-ten finish was erased from the team and credited with 19th place.

The Eyecon Trail Cameras #7 team will look to rebound tonight as a clean slate of racing action is on tap once again at Skagit Speedway.
