Lucas Oil ASCS Season Finale kicks off with Fanfest

– SOMERTON, Ariz. (November 5, 2013) The 2013 season for the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real will be decided this Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9 at the Cocopah Speedway in Somerton, Ariz. but before the green flag drops on the final two nights of national competition, fans will get the chance to meet the drivers and view the machines that will sling mud at the three-eighths mile Arizona oval.

Slated for Thursday, November 7 at the Cocopah Resort and Casino, located directly across the street from the Cocopah Speedway, the Fanfest will begin at 4:00 P.M. (MT) in the front lawn of the Cocopah Resort and Casino.

Much like the spring event, a press conference will be held for local fans and media to deliver questions to series drivers and officials.

Following that, fans will be allowed to cruise the grounds and view the machines. The event will also include live music for all to enjoy. Food vendors will be on site as well as ASCS National Tour, Cocopah Speedway, and driver apparel. Fanfest admission is free to anyone who wishes to attend.
