Holly, MI – November 8, 2013 – When the TRUFUEL Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series (MSRXSS) visits Southern National Motorsports Park, it will be a rarity of sorts.

410 c.i. winged asphalt sprint cars have only competed in the Carolinas on one occasion and that was over twenty-four years ago. The All Star Circuit of Champions contested two events at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, NC on October 27-28, 1989. Bob Cicconi and Jeff Gordon each picked up feature victories in the first and last visit of 410 winged asphalt sprints to the area.
When the ‘Fastest Short Track Cars in the World’ visit Southern National Motorsports Park in Kenly,NC November 22-23, the cars will be slightly different than in 1989. The cars that compete in MSRXSS are purpose built pavement machines designed for speed as well as wheel to wheel racing unlike the converted dirt track cars that last appeared in the area in 1989.
The high-banked 4/10 mile will be perfectly suited to the high-speed winged sprint cars of the MSRXSS. The smooth surfaced Southern National Motorsports Park will likely see its all-time track record shattered, a common sight when MSRXSS comes to town.
The MSRXSS event will be part of the annual Mason Dixon Meltdown that will also feature the PASS pro and super late model divisions for one phenomenal event. This will give teams one last chance to compete in the 2013 calendar year. The PASS super late model portion of the event will feature some of the biggest names in southeastern late model racing including Jay Fogleman and Kyle Grissom. The MSRXSS will compete in a 30 lap feature event.
Some of the biggest names in pavement ssprint car racing are already enetered including: Brain Gerster, Jo Jo Helberg, Jacob Wilson, Brian Tyler, Jeff Bloom, Brian Olson, Mike Larrison, DJ Hamilton, Aaron Pierce, Bo Hartley,Sondi Eden ,Jimmy McCune, and Troy DeCaire among others.
There will be an open practice schedule for Friday November 22. For more info on the event please log onto www.mustseeracing.com as well as Twitter and Facebook.
