TULSA, Okla. (February 25, 2014) – The second season of competition for the ASCS Frontier Region has been revealed with 19 dates in Montana and South Dakota

Spread between four facilities, the northern tour of the ASCS Nation will begin the 2014 campaign on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17 at the Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont. The weekend marks two of the eight scheduled visits on the year.

 

Billings Motorsports Park just north of Billings, Mont. will play host to the Frontier Region on six occasions with the first coming on Saturday, June 14. Paring with the Billings dates four times, the Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade begins their season with the ASCS Frontier region on Friday, June 13.

 

The region pairs with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real three times during the month of July. The National Tour will visit the Electric City Speedway on July 11, followed by the Billings Motorsports Park on July 12. The following Saturday, July 18 will be the Region’s lone South Dakota visit to the Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City.

 

The 2013 season for the Frontier Region saw Phil Dietz taking the region’s inaugural championship.

 

Overall, the region saw 73 drivers compete in at least one event. The Frontier Region will again be headed by Mike Quigley, who can be reached at 775-790-1408.
