Las Vegas, NV — (March 3, 2014) — Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz will appear at the J.D. Byrider in Las Vegas – 5600 West Sahara Ave. – Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. PST in advance of the sixth annual FVP Outlaw Showdown at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
During Tuesday’s appearance at J.D. Byrider, both drivers will sign autographs and take photos with customers. Those attending will also get an up-close look at the racecars Kinser and Schatz will drive and also have a chance to check out the impressive 53-foot race haulers.
KOMP-92.3FM will be broadcasting live from J.D. Byrider during the event. The dealership will be giving away tickets to both Wednesday and Thursday night’s events of the FVP Outlaw Showdown at The Dirt Track, as well as Sunday’s Kobalt 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.
The TSR teammates return to Las Vegas riding high after each scoring a WoO A-Feature victory in the season-opening DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park in Florida three weeks ago. Schatz, driver of the TSR No. 15 STP/Armor All/Crimsafe J&J, won last year’s opening race in Las Vegas to give him seven career wins at the half-mile, dirt-oval. Kinser, driver of the TSR No. 15 Bad Boy Buggies/J.D. Byrider/Chevrolet Performance Maxim, won the his sixth career Las Vegas victory in 2011. This year’s showdown includes two complete nights of World of Outlaws (WoO) STP Sprint Car Series action. WoO Sprint cars are scheduled to hit the track just after 7 p.m. each night.
J.D. Byrider, the nation’s largest used car and finance franchise, will continue its 17-year relationship with TSR during the 2014 season.
