Lubbock, TX — (March 10, 2014) — Graves Motorsports is in the home stretch of the offseason before beginning its chase for the ASCS Lone Star Region championship.

“This week and next week we’re thrashing to finish up and put the final touches on everything,” Graves Motorsports driver Kolt Walker said. “I’m going to do some reorganizing in the trailer, changing stuff around to make it user-friendly. I try to lay it out so it’s the least complicated and every part and tool has its place. Not only is it nicer, but it’s also a key factor in winning races and championships.”

That’s the main focus for the program as it opens the season on March 21-22 at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, in a co-sanctioned weekend with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour and the ASCS Lone Star Region.

Walker said his goal for the trailer is to have everything organized so that it doesn’t take much time for a new crew member to adapt.

“There’s not much time between races,” he said. “If something goes wrong you have to be able to do it quick. To be quick at that you have to know where everything is. When you’re quick because everything is organized, that’s how you change an engine in less than 10 minutes and a rear end in less than 12 minutes.”
