Tulsa, OK — (July 18, 2014) — Receiving three-inches of rain at the Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas officials with the track have been forced to call off tonight’s presentation of the Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South Region.
This is the third time action has been called off in 2014 on account of rain for the ASCS Gulf South Region.
Races for Saturday, July 19 at the Leesville 171 Speedway are still a go for the Gulf South drivers. Updates regarding the stop on Leesville, La. will be posted to http://www.ascsracing.com.
Officials with the Leesville 171 Speedway in Leesville, La. have made the decision to call of racing with the Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South Region scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2014 as rains have pounded the area.
The next showing for the Gulf South Region will be August 15 at the Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco and the Devil Bowl Speedway on August 16 with the Smiley’s Racing Products Lone Star Region.
